Took a summer trip, got sick.

It wasn’t COVID, but it sucked! 2 people directly behind us coughing for 6+ hours. When we got home, my whole family was sick too. We’re all on the mends now. I’m glad no one got seriously ill. I can only imagine how many other people also got sick because of these sick travelers.

Please stay home if you’re sick! Don’t travel on a plane!

That is all.

Thank you. /rant

Well, there’s one issue that’s been bugging me for a long time. A loose, wobbly gooseneck (goose neck?) on my American Standard kitchen faucet. Diagnosed with Diabetes…

My change from pre-diabetic to diabetic happened pretty quickly, over the period of 3 months, my A1c went from the 5.5-6 range to 7.6 and then in the next 3 months to 11.5. It was quick. My doctor started me on insulin. Now I’m on nearly 60 insulin units, my blood sugar is back in a normal range, and seeing an endocrinologist to figure out what happened.
